Technical Director/Crew Chief 2006 - Present Competition-Marketing Competition-Marketing is a Grand American race team which runs two cars in the Rolex GT class and one car in the Koni Challenge Series. · As Technical Director, does all the research with regards to updates on the cars. · As Crew Chief, supervises all maintenance and update work on all cars. Oversees and plans all test days and race weekends. Organizes pre-race and race day activities. Decides on race and pit strategies as well as any adjustments that need to be made on the cars during the race utilizing all available information which includes the drivers feedback.
Crew Chief - S.C.C.A World Challenge Series 2001-2005 Touring Class BMW – Raced by Phil Parlato · Responsible for all chassis set up work and tire management throughout the race weekend. · Acted as driver’s spotter on all test days and race weekends. · Was instrumental in a 10th place qualifying position in 2004 at the World Challenge race at Lime Rock Park. · All World Challenge races were run except the annual West Coast swing. · Phil’s best finish was 12th place at Lime Rock, 2004.
Crew Chief – NASCAR Modified 2001-2005 Riverhead Speedway, Riverhead, NY · Responsible for chassis set up and tire management at the shop as well as at the track. · Oversaw all work performed on the car whether it be at the shop or at the track. · Served as the driver’s spotter while at the racetrack.
Crew Chief– S.C.C.A. 1997-2000 Switched over to S.C.C.A. road racing and performed all the work on an S.C.C.A showroom stock Dodge Neon. The car ran regional races throughout the northeast as well as select Pro Dodge Neon races. · Directly responsible for all maintenance work as well as all research and development work. · Organized and planned all test days. · Acted as driver’s spotter on test days and race weekends.
Part Owner/Crew Chief 1989-1996 Two-car NASCAR race team The team ran weekly shows at Riverhead Speedway, Riverhead, NY and Flemington Speedway, Flemington, NJ. · Assigned maintenance work to each member of the five member crew. · Responsible for all changes involving both cars as well as chassis set up and tire management while at the track. · Acted as the driver’s spotter. · Over an eight year span, this race team accomplished: a track championship, car owner of the year awards, rookie driver of the year, over 25 feature wins and never finished out of the top 10 in points with both cars.
